Lawmakers pass payday loan measure
DENVER - A bill cracking down on payday loans passed the Legislature on Tuesday and is on its way to the governor’s desk. The 33-32 vote in the House sealed the most substantial victory that critics of payday lending have seen at the Legislature after years of trying.
