2 gentlemen called on diferent occasions claiming to be from kings county court and say that I didn’t pay back my payday loan and that if I didn’t give them the money it would be turned over to the courts in my home state. I have never heard of a court asking for payment by credit card or else.

No….members of law enforcement do not get involved in civil issues of debt collection. This is actually illegal activity. Debt collectors cannot pretend to represent law enforcement or attorneys. If they keep using such illegal tactics: read the following statement to them the next time they call:

Be advised that this call is being recorded. If you do not consent to being recorded, you need to terminate this call. Continuation of this phone call after officially being informed that it is being recorded implies consent to be recorded.
