What is the point of a payday loan company suing me when I am on SSI with NO assets?
I realize I got in over my head with the payday loans, flipping them, etc. and I obviously am low income and cannot pay them back. Do I have to go to court if they even attempt to sue me? And before you even tell me, I am well aware that I should never have taken out a loan in the first place.

if you signed a loan agreement w/ them and owe them money, they are legally entitled to get it back. now, their first step probably wouldnt be to sue you. they call you, mail you loan due notices, etc. then, they might turn it over to a collection agency.
it doesnt matter to them whether you have just a can of beans or the entire wealth of kokomo, indiana. they want it back, fair and square.
talk w/ them and see if there is some sort of payment plan that you both agree on that a) wont severely affect your available income and b) gives them something.
if you just quit paying on your acct, it will show up on your credit report which might prevent you from obtain a much needed and reasonable loan sometime in the future.
